Happily ever after!

WOW, So much has happened. After all the preparation, I am finally married! Shawn and I were married on June 26th, thanks to all of you who could make it and for all of the support! I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with Shawn. I am so in love with him.


My wedding day turned into quite an interesting day when we got to our house to pack. We received a phone call you would never want to get especially on your wedding day. We found out that our Harvey dog had passed away. It was a good thing that we hadn't headed to our honeymoon yet. Though it was sad we went and picked him up and buried him in Shawn's grandparents back yard. I miss my Harvey dog, but I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with him.

We almost put off our honeymoon but decided we needed to get away after that news so we headed on to mesquite and then from there to Las Vegas! We helped each other through the tragedy and all in all had a pretty great time! We Stayed in the Paris hotel in Las Vegas and when we got there we decided that we might as well up grade our room! it was so nice and the view out our window was amazing! you could see the water show and the Eiffel Tower... it was gorgeous.

Shawn also took me on my first limo ride where we got pictures by the welcome to vegas sign! It was so nice to get away and spend time with my new hubby!


A couple days after we got back, we decided that even though it was soon we wanted to get another dog. We had wanted to get a basset hound that we saw a few weeks before we got married but decided we would have a pretty full house because we already had a dog and a cat. So we called up the people and they had one male left so we went and looked and now we have Leonard! he is a cutie, but you know how puppies are.



Well that is pretty much it so far, time to keep living my Happily Ever After! I will keep you posted!

Oh yes one more thing! I finally passed my Praxis test!!! 3rd times a charm!

Engagement Pictures

Shawn and I got our engagement pictures done a few days ago and he was being the biggest goof off. It made it hard to get some nice ones, but there are a few that I love and they will definitely be on my announcements. I am making the wedding announcements myself and have them pretty much design, but I printed them out to see how they looked and they were a little blurry. SO.... Now i get to go mess with it some more. I think it is the resolution i will figure it out for sure anyway here are some of the engagements that I have edited to put on the announcement, I am not going to post them all, they are pretty good size so it takes a while to download.



We will be sending out announcements very soon hopefully, we just have couple more things to work out like the location and the time we will be getting married. Don't forget to mark it on your calendars June 26 2010! I can't wait to see you there!

We've set a date!

It is official, Shawn and I are getting married June 26th! I am so excited!!! I have also learned that planning a wedding is very hard. Plans are going very slow right now, but I will keep everyone posted on the progress!

Bridals

So I few days ago I had my bridals done! I haven't seen all of them, but what I have seen I love! I don't want a lot of people to see, but I have to show some people. Click on my friend Blink Foto and take a look! I am super excited to get my cd of all of them in a couple of weeks!

Ice Fishing

I found out that one of Shawn's favorite thing to do is go ice fising! I like going as well, but I always whimp out way before he does cuz he is alway waiting for the next big catch. The other day we both experienced ice fishing at night. To my surprise it didn't start freezing until it hit about 12-12:30 in the morning. Then I reeled in my line and said Shawn I am done we have got to go! So I loaded up everything I could grab and started to the car to get it warmed up and so I could defrost. We both had a pretty good time and Shawn says that between the 2 of us we caught about 20 but I thought it was more like ten.

It is a good thing I like fishing cuz I have a feeling we will be doing this ALOT!!!
